Attitude of Gratitude: Living a Mindful Life

Hello Tribe,

My latest radio show was a blast. My good friend She-She asked me to be on her International Angels network last week and I agreed. I felt discussing an attitude of gratitude and how to live a mindful life would be a great way to start the New Year. We discussed many tips on how to stay grateful and mindful in the moment. She-She mentioned how being “mindful” is actually being “mindless”. What an interesting concept right? How to be mindless and mindful at the same time? I can break it down like this. As I become more conscious and aware of my life I become more mindful. Then, as I become mindless, I am actually less focused on the negative world around me, my thoughts, my past and then I am truly letting go. I play with these ideas and concepts and learn how not to be attached. Practicing non-attachment is a wonderful way to let go. I breathe in light and breathe out love and trust that the universe has my back.

I cannot express how much fun I had at the end of the show. We did readings and mini healings for those listeners who called in. It was so fun to help people on the spot from all over the nation. There are lots of great tips and a light filled mediation at the end.

The Importance of Grounding

For the stargazers out there, the Orionid Meteor Shower peaks this weekend and has been creating a dazzling display across the sky for those lucky enough to see it. This is a perfect time to align your energy with our planet and the Universe by practicing grounding yourself!

Grounding is an important tool in manifesting and tapping into your inner light, but how does one ground?

One way is to get your feet in the dirt. Take off your shoes and stand in the yard, whether on grass or dirt, the earth has energy to assist you in grounding your energy. (Try this tonight while looking for those ‘shooting stars’!)

But what if you cannot get to dirt? It is as simple as taking a breath. Take a deep breath in and concentrate on moving your energy into the Earth. Take a few deep belly breaths and imagine you are going into the mother. Our beautiful Mother Earth is here to guide you and answer your prayers. Feel your heart deeply connecting with her, as you ground your energy and trust all will be well.

When you set a clear intention for manifesting and ground it in the earth the Universe hears you, and as it is the law will give you what you truly desire. I like to say, “Highest and best good, no harm to anyone,” when I ask the Universe to support me. Feel the love of Pachamama and know deep in your heart that you deserve the best!

Tune in and enjoy the fresh New Moon energy…you are sure to manifest your deepest desires!  Focus your attention inwards. Ask the deep questions:

1. What will make my life more meaningful?
2. How can I take care of myself in a whole new way?
3. What can I do to become more conscious?

Write down these questions and as the answers come throughout the day, jot them down. Later tonight, go over these answers and begin to visualize and feel yourself already doing it!

Your feelings are more powerful than you know.

Synchronicity is the simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection.  Renowned psychiatrist Carl Jung explained it as a “meaningful coincidence.”

According to Live Science, the concept of synchronicity came to Jung during a period of mental illness in the early 1900s. Jung became convinced that everything in the universe is intimately connected, and that suggested to him that there must exist a collective unconscious of humankind. This implied to him that events happening all over the world at the same time must be connected in some unknown way.
